Observation
Small people are learning to take up less space.
An air traffic controller holds the sky in his mind, a child actor starves herself to avoid inconvenience, a writer vanishes into an algorithm's training data, a studio threatens to leave a state. The pattern isn't individual crisis. It's a deepening asymmetry where the people holding real-time expertise, creative labor, and institutional knowledge are discovering their value has inverted. They now owe the system their compliance rather than the system owing them their respect.
